Little Book - Big Man - a nationwide project aimed at preschool children (2014-2017). Its aim is to encourage parents to visit libraries with their children and read together.

Each participant will receive a reading layette containing:
The book "First readings for ..." - a carefully selected set of works by outstanding Polish poets and children's writers, in which we can read both classical and contemporary items. Among the authors we can find, among others Joanna Papuzińska, Wanda Chotomska, Czesław Janczarski and Hanna Januszewska.
Brochure for parents "Connected by a book, or preschooler goes to the library" - a practical guide on the benefits of daily reading to a child and visiting the library with him. Thanks to the brochure, parents will find out why literature is so important to the balanced, healthy development of their child, and will also find a lot of reading advice and inspiration. ·
Little Reader Card - a library card to collect stickers for borrowed books.
For each visit to the library, ending with borrowing at least one book from the children's book collection, the Little Reader will receive a sticker, and after collecting ten stickers a personal diploma.
