"From generation to generation let our voice go down to generation ..." Meeting

Patriotism of Tomorrow 2021. The Luzino Library Project "Let our voice go from generation to generation ..." is in full swing !!
We divided the project into two connecting blocks. First of all, we meet with young people from the Luzino commune. The activities will cover approximately 180 students from grades 5 to 7 of primary schools. Young people take part in the "Object that speak" workshops, during which they discover the history of the Stutthof Camp on their own. They tell stories by trying to answer questions inspired by artifacts from the collections of the Stutthof Museum - what was the item used for, what could it be made of, who and for whom could it be created? This way of discovering historical facts is primarily to interest the participants to further independent research, to discover family stories, incl. by talking to relatives who may remember the tragic events related to the evacuation of prisoners from the Stutthof Camp in the winter of 1945.
During each workshop, students also watch Monika Wejer's film "Stutthof goes".
The second block is family meetings in the library. We remind you that today we meet at 18.00. We cordially invite all people who, personally or from the stories of relatives, neighbors, friends, remember the events related to the so-called Death March and those who would like to know more about it! During the meeting, we will present the history of the Stutthof Camp and the evacuation of prisoners in the winter of 1945 in an interesting way. There will be time for discussion and questions.
The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Aleksandra Kurowska-Susdorf. Assistant professor at the Naval Academy, a guide in the Tri-City and Kashubia, and a teacher.
