On Tuesday, we participated in extraordinary art workshops led by Alicja Serkowska, a recognized folk artist. Mrs. Alicja revealed to us the secrets of painting on glass in the Kashubian tradition. Are you curious? Well, Kashubian "glass" pictures are always religiously themed. In the middle there is a figure of a holiday, and around it are painted various compositions of flowers, usually tulips, roses or pomegranates. Mrs. Alicja paints her pictures with oil paints, thanks to which they are durable even for many years. We used acrylic paints for the workshop. The effects exceeded our expectations
Adults, children and teenagers participated in the workshops. The youngest participant was 3 years old! Mostly Angels appeared in our paintings. Each one is unique! Everyone has their own "properties" and responds to the different intentions of the Creators. The whole set creates a wonderful "angel".
