Yesterday, at the library, we hosted Mrs. Marzena Żurek - a specialist in psychodietetics, a certified health and nutrition coach, nutritional advisor and educator, pedagogue and promoter of a healthy lifestyle, winner of the Hippocrates plebiscite, awarding the title of the Medical Dietician of the Year of the Silesian Voivodeship.
In the morning, there was an author's meeting and workshops for children based on Ms Marzena's educational book "Nutritional adventures of Tobi, mischievous cat", in which the protagonist in numerous rhymes draws attention to the essence of healthy eating and exercise in everyone's life. After talking about composing healthy meals, including tasty and healthy "fast food", the children prepared their own snacks - watermelon pizza and chocolate cream with avocado a'la nutella ...
In the evening, Ms Marzena met with adults explaining, inter alia, what are the beneficial and unfavorable nutritional combinations, how to best use healthy substitutes for unhealthy products in your diet, how to strengthen your immunity through nutrition ..

The meeting was organized as part of the Book Discussion Club, in cooperation with the Provincial Public Library in Gdańsk and the Book Institute.
